And it came early for me. Every year in late January or early February I re-read the Hobbit and Lord of the Rings series. Every year I find something new in the stories that I didn’t see in the last reading.
I started early this year because I will need more time to finish. I have gotten a part in a play, and I will not have the hours to spend reading these books. I have many lines to learn, so I have to use my time wisely. That may cut back on my blogging time too. Oh well, such is the life of a theater junkie.
Anyway, back to the books. I am an avid reader and I like a lot of books. I am always looking for something new to read. So I am open to any suggestions

Just finished The Hobbit a few weeks ago. Sounds like a plan after I read the three books I got under the tree.
I wish I had more time to read. I get through under 5 pages a night, mostly while dozing. Not good when I’m reading a 500+ page book that’s due back at the library in a week!
I like to spend at least 1/2 hour reading every day. I generally will read at least a chapter a day. I am a very fast reader, so the limited time isn’t that much of a handicap for me.
I got a fun book for Christmas. It’s called “Classic Whodunits”. It’s a bunch of short stories where you solve the mystery.
I am a book-a-holic (not that that is a bad thing). I also read a good mystery… I pushed vote before I was ready.
For a fantasy fix, I just finished reading the Runelords series by David Farland. There are seven books out now. The first four complete one plotline. The second plotline as of now is incomplete. I am hoping for book eight in a reasonable timeframe, but since book seven was just published in September, it might be awhile. Anyway, the main site is:
