I purposely tried to select pictures where the kids’ faces weren’t clear or were in profile since they are technically not my kids so I can’t give permission for them. If any of my silent readers from my church object to any of the pictures, please let me know and I will remove the offending pictures, thanks! Seems like you had a very good experience with the camp. I hope it refreshed you in many ways.
It really is refreshing every year, even on the hot days (coming up…). The “tube thing” was first base for the wipe-out wiffleball game, so alas, they didn’t get to ride the tube- only slide into it. One year we used a wading pool for that base too, but it did not work well at all so the next year it was changed to the current inner tube. That first year we did do tubing in the water though, so at least that year they got to ride on the tube. I guess safety concerns caused them to cut tubing for the younger kids in recent years.
Yu should have given us a shot of the least disastrous boys’ cabin?

Nope, but it did have some engine trouble. We stopped at a small island and a couple of the leaders helped in trying to fix it. It never quit though, fortunately.
